What's this all about anyway?
Get Out in Byron Bay is aimed at promoting live music, club parties, festivals, art and sporting events in Byron Bay. It is aimed at locals, people in the surrounding shires, and visitors to the area. The main focus is the gig guide - which brings each Byron Bay venue's event schedule into the one website months in advance, and can be easily updated when plans change.
The gig guide is also published on the following websites: ByronBay.com, ByronBay.org, Planula Retreat, Great Granny Waterhouse and The Real Byron Bay. This makes it convenient for more people to find out what's on, and encourages return visits to the hosting website. To host the Get Out gig guide (it's free) contact us for the html code.
You photographed me and I want it.
OK. You should be able to 'right click and save it' on here, or from the Flickr website. We also upload shots to Facebook, so if you're on there you can tag yourself. The images online are low quality and will print blurry. If you'd like a photo printed properly (without the website reference on it), prints start at $5. Email your request.

If you'd like to write about, or photograph, Byron Bay events we'd love to hear from you. Get in touch by email. Contributing is voluntary; it's an opportunity to have fun doing what you love and get your work published online. We may be able to get you a paid gig if someone wants to hire an event photographer. We may be able to organise an interview between you and touring bands about to visit town and entry to ticketed gigs in exchange for a written review / photographs.

Great. We'd love to cover it. We do everything from private parties to corporate events as well as live music! We supply high resolution files for you to print and web quality files for you to email or post online. We can also post the photos on our website and Facebook if you'd like further promotion. Excellent. Use the contact form below. Be sure to include date, time, location, entry fee if applicable, where tickets can be purchased, and a brief bio of the perfomers or description of the event. We will cut 'n paste the information into the calendar. This is a free service.
